Computer for Abe
Abe, 68, has never been able to take care of himself well. He lived with his mother for his entire adult life and, until she could no longer do so, she looked after all of his needs. After her death two years ago, Abe moved to public housing. He is unable to work and relies on a State stipend to cover his expenses. This does not go much beyond his basic necessities, leaving him with no way to fill the many long hours of his day.
A computer would make a huge difference in his life, allowing him to learn remotely, play games and meet other people. Abe, however, does not have enough money to buy himself a computer.
