Washing machine for Miri
Miri is divorced and raising two children, ages 12 and 16, on her own. Her ex-husband is out of the picture completely.
Unfortunately, Miri suffers from numerous physical ailments, including high blood pressure, chronic back pain and severe allergies.
Miri’s declining health has impacted her ability to work and has left her in dire financial straits. She supports herself and her children on a small income from her part-time work in a call center, as well as a partial disability stipend and a monthly rent subsidy.
Over the years, Miri has accumulated heavy debt and struggles to make ends meet each month.
At the moment, Miri’s most desperate need is a new washing machine’; her old one is broken beyond repair.
