Support for 500 Children of Reservist Soldiers from Harish

Total Cost - USD 3,945
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 3,945

Once again, life in Israel has been upended by war. In the young city of Harish, this reality is especially widespread. A significant number of households have a parent currently serving in reserve duty, leaving entire neighborhoods of mothers and children to navigate these long, difficult days without them. With schools canceled due to the ongoing conflict, children are home all day, with few outlets for learning, play, or social connection.

That’s where Tiferet Ami, working together with Ten Gav, are providing support.

The Tiferet Ami Playhouse was established at the start of the war to serve as a vital support system for the wives and children of reservist soldiers in Harish, providing safety, structure, and a sense of community when families need it most. Currently serving approximately 120 families and 500 children between the ages of 5 – 12, the playhouse has become a daily anchor during a time of instability.

Our goal is to raise 11,400 NIS / $USD3,660.

This will help provide:

  • Hot meals for 500 children
  • Creative activities
  • Workshops, e.g., woodworking and chocolate making
  • Coffee corner for mothers to relax, connect, and find support

Your help ensures these children have a place to play, learn, and feel supported while their families face extraordinary challenges.
