Shiri and Adam Levy and their five children are in desperate financial straits. Shiri suffers from both physical and emotional problems and is unable to work.

Adam is largely deaf, and cannot work. The older children also have medical and psychological issues.

The family relies on their small disability pensions and has no other income. Their 23-year old refrigerator has broken beyond repair and the family has been living without one. A new fridge would greatly enhance the family’s standard of living.
