Nili, 65, raised her three children on her own, as her husband has been a drug addict for many years. Their two oldest children have moved on with their lives, but the 31-year-old is developmentally delayed and still lives with his parents. The family’s only income is a government stipend, which Nili is careful to stretch as far as she can.

Her refrigerator is 20 years old and has been repaired many times. It is now beyond repair. Nili does not know how she will continue to care for her husband and son without the ability to store food and keep it cold. This family is desperate for a new refrigerator.
