Rosa’s situation is quite dire, and she desperately needs our help.

Rosa, 56, survives on a monthly disability stipend. She suffers from both physical and psychological ailments that prevent her from working outside of the home.

Despite her own health issues, Rosa spent a number of years caring for her sick, elderly father; this added expense left her in debt.

Today, Rosa is living in an old, dilapidated apartment with the barest of furnishings.

While her needs are many, Rosa’s most pressing need is a refrigerator. The second-hand one that she had is broken beyond repair, and Rosa has no way to keep her food fresh.
