Ofra, 49, has lived a very sad and lonely life; today, she needs a helping hand.
Ofra suffers from a rare genetic illness; the same disease took the lives of two of her sisters when they were young.
Over the years, Ofra has battled other physical ailments as well; to make matters even worse, she has developed an anxiety disorder which has become very debilitating.
Today, Ofra survives on a monthly disability stipend and help from Social Services; she also receives a monthly rent subsidy.
Recently, Ofra’s refrigerator broke, and it cannot be repaired.
With our help, Ofra can receive a new refrigerator. There is no question that this would greatly improve her quality of life.
