Rachel, 52, is divorced and has four grown children.

Two of Rachel’s children are single parents (each with one child) and are currently living with her.

A number of years ago, Rachel was seriously injured in a car accident. She receives a monthly disability stipend and cannot work outside of the home.

Needless to say, with two extra grown-ups and two young children living with her, Rachel struggles to make ends meet.

At the moment, her most desperate need is a new oven. Her old one is broken beyond repair and, with so many mouths to feed, a new one is a necessity.
