Oven for Dana

Dana is raising two young children on her own; ten-year-old Mira suffers from a chronic nerve disorder, as well as from developmental delays, ADD and anger management issues. Her brother, Liran, is a healthy nine-year-old.
Dana herself suffers from chronic asthma and from anxiety disorder and depression. Because of Mira’s issues, Dana cannot hold down a job, and she supports her family on a monthly government stipend and Mira’s disability payments. Each month, she struggles to make ends meet and has fallen deeply into debt.
Unfortunately, Dana has no family support; social services helps her as much as they can.
Recently, Dana and her children moved into a rent-subsidized apartment. Their old oven was broken beyond repair, and they desperately need a new one.
No one can raise two young children without a working oven. If we could help Dana buy a new one, the family’s quality of life would certainly improve.
