Gan for Dana’s daughter

Total Cost - USD 549
Still Needed - USD 0
Funded - USD 549

Dana, 32, is a single mother to four children, ages 2-18. Tragically, Dana’s partner was murdered a year ago in front of two of her kids. As a result, they have been in intensive therapy through social services in order to overcome their trauma.

Dana works as a secretary in a legal firm. In March, she was sent on unpaid leave due to the Corona crisis. Luckily, she recently returned to work, but she has suffered an obvious financial setback. Over the past few months, she supported herself and her children on a small government stipend.

Her biggest challenge has been paying for gan for her two-year-old. Her only other choice is to leave the baby home with her son who has anxiety disorder and is under psychiatric care. This is clearly not an acceptable solution. If we can help Dana cover two months of gan payments, she will have the chance to get back on her feet and start recovering from a traumatic time.
