Dov works part time delivering bread. He would like to put in more hours at a better job and earn more but, at the moment, that is not possible for him.
Dov, 52, is a single father, raising his 16-year old son, Danny, on his own. Danny’s mother no longer lives in Israel, although Danny maintains a connection with her via the internet. On his meager salary, Dov does his best to maintain their small, public housing apartment and meet his son’s needs but it is difficult.
The little furniture they have is worn and old. They have a refrigerator but it only works erratically resulting in a lot of spoiled food (which they can ill afford). A new, reliable one would put their minds at ease and allow them to keep their food fresh.
