Tammy’s school posts all assignments and announcements online, but without a computer, Tammy is falling behind in school.
Her mother, pregnant with her fourth child, is on full-time bed rest and unable to work. The family survives on Tammy’s father’s income, but his salary is very low. Their apartment is already much too small for the five of them, and there will be even less space once the baby is born. The rent eats up the bulk of Tammy’s father’s earnings and the family is left with almost no money for their other needs, like food, clothing and electricity.
Obviously, the family cannot afford the computer that will allow Tammy to keep up in school. They desperately need our help.
