Oven for Sivan

Sivan, 37, is making every effort to stand on her own two feet as she raises three young children (ages 4-14) on her own.

Sivan is divorced; her ex-husband pays a small sum of child support but has nothing to do with his children.

For many years, Sivan worked full time as a travel agent. After her youngest was born and she began divorce proceedings, she had to stop working in order to be available for her children.

She is now participating in a Social Services program that is helping her build a sound financial plan and assisting her in rejoining the work force. Sivan is determined to give her children a brighter future.

At the moment, however, Sivan is supporting her family on child support payments and a monthly government subsidy. There is little money left at the end of the month for any “extras”.

The family’s oven recently broke and cannot be repaired; with three children to feed, Sivan is desperate for a new one. She certainly deserves our help.
