Clothes dryer for Sofi

Sofi, 30, has her hands full. She is raising four young children (ages 2-9) on her own; their father is in prison and provides no emotional or financial support.
Sofi works part-time as an aide to the elderly. She supports herself and her children on her salary, a monthly government stipend and a disability stipend that her eight-year-old son receives due to developmental delays.
Sofi occasionally gets help from her mother and grandmother but otherwise, she is completely on her own. She is an extremely devoted mother who tries to meet all of her children’s needs.
Recently, the family’s clothes dryer broke, and Sofi cannot afford to replace it. There is no room in their tiny, cramped apartment to hang laundry outside. Sofi has one indoor rack, and the clothing doesn’t dry quickly enough. As a result, with four young children in the house, the laundry piles up, creating a huge mess and a terrible odor.
If Sofi could get some help buying a dryer, there is no question the family’s quality of life would greatly improve.
