The Shachar family has fallen on hard times. Guy was recently laid off and is currently unemployed. Shoshana, his wife, works as an aide to the elderly and earns a minimal salary. The couple have three children, ages 3-11.

Shoshana and Guy are trying to improve their circumstances and attend both couples’ and family therapy. They cooperate in every way possible with social services.

Presently, all three children share one cramped bedroom. Two of the kids sleep on mattresses on the floor, while the third sleeps on the living room sofa since the one bed they have is broken. At the very least, Shoshana and Guy would like to provide their children with beds to sleep on.
