Tali, 30, and Yoav, 41, have three young children (ages 3-7). At the moment, the three of them are sharing one bed.
Tali and Yoav’s financial situation is rather dire. Tali doesn’t work outside of the home, and Yoav, who suffers from both emotional and physical issues, has had trouble holding down a job.
The family is surviving on a monthly government stipend and help from Social Services.
Most of the furniture in Tali and Yoav’s apartment was procured through donations or picked up off the street.
Their most desperate need right now is a pull-out bed for two of their children so that all three of them can get a decent night’s sleep.
