Washing machine for Yitzchak
Yitzchak is 71 and alone in the world. He has no family in Israel and no support outside of social services. He lived for many years in a public housing apartment. Unfortunately, when he was hospitalized for an extended period of time with kidney issues, the apartment was given to someone else.
After he was released from the hospital, Yitzchak struggled to find a place to live, while simultaneously dealing with his declining health. Fortunately, social services have just helped him move into a new home, which he is renting for himself. The apartment, however, is completely empty and after paying rent, Yitzchak does not have enough money to buy appliances. Social services have found him a refrigerator. Yitzchak does not have a washing machine though, and there is no chance that he will be able to acquire one without help.
