Natalya, 40, is divorced and raising four children (ages 6-20) on her own. Her oldest is a soldier who has been fighting extensively since October 7th.

Natalya immigrated to Israel from Eastern Europe and has no family support. In addition, her ex-husband pays no child support and isn’t in touch with his family; Natalya is truly on her own.

Natalya supports herself and her children on a monthly government stipend and on her small income from working as a supermarket cashier.

Unfortunately, Natalya was physically unwell for an extended period of time a few years ago and had to stop working temporarily. This didn’t help her already precarious financial situation. In fact, the doctors recommended that she take a longer recuperative period, but Natalya was eager to get back to work in order to provide for her children.

Natalya’s most pressing need at the moment are new beds for her children. The three younger ones are sleeping in one double bed, and she sleeps on the broken couch.

Let’s help all of them get a decent night’s sleep.
