Beds for Naama’s children
Naana came to Israel from Ethiopia when she was 12. She speaks Hebrew but health problems, including severe asthma, have kept her from working. With no regular income, she and her six children have been in dire financial straits for years. They live in public housing, where space is tight and conditions can be poor.
Naama, 47, is very appreciative of any help that anyone offers, as she tries to keep her family fed and clothed. Unfortunately, they lack even the basics. There are almost no beds in the apartment because Naama cannot afford to buy them. This is an unacceptable situation for any family.
