Beds for Liav and Efrat’s children

Total Cost - USD 661
Still Needed - USD 104
Funded - USD 557

Efrat and Liav, both in their late 20’s, were struggling before October 7th; now they are in desperate need of our help.

Both Efrat and Liav had difficult upbringings. Liav grew up in an abusive household; there were periods when he ran away and lived on the streets. Eventually, he graduated high school and enlisted in the IDF.

After his discharge, Liav successfully earned a degree in bookkeeping. Until now, he has been working as a mechanic but is now looking for a more stable job in his field.

Efrat’s family moved often when she was growing up; she struggled to adapt to each new setting and never built a solid social network. She eventually completed her high school degree and performed her National Service.

Efrat’s erratic childhood has lead to difficulties in adapting to new environments. For a long time, she struggled to hold down a steady job. Currently, she is working at a health club.

Liav and Efrat met, married and had two children, ages 2 and 4. They moved down South and on October 7th, spent hours and hours locked in their safe room.

Today, they have relocated and are all suffering from severe PTSD.

As Liav and Efrat struggle to get back on their feet, they are desperate for new beds for their children. The kids are currently sleeping with them which is an untenable situation.

After all they have been through, this young family deserves a helping hand.
