Beds for Keren’s daughters

Keren’s story is heartbreaking.

Keren grew up in a dysfunctional, impoverished and abusive household. She never had any positive role model in her life, and struggled through her childhood and teenage years.

Keren’s first romantic relationship was with an abusive man whom she left after giving birth to their son, now 10.

Her subsequent relationship was with a drug addict who, despite repeated efforts at rehab, never got clean. They had two daughters together, today aged two and four.

Currently, Keren is in touch with neither of her former partners and is raising her three children on her own. She supports them on her monthly disability stipend and is an incredibly devoted mother.

At the moment, Keren’s most dire need is new beds for her two younger children. They are currently sleeping in her bed which is an untenable situation.

Every growing child deserves a decent bed to sleep on; let’s help Keren’s daughters get one.
