Hila works part-time as an aide in a nursing home; she also receives a monthly government stipend.

Despite her greatest efforts, Hila struggles to make ends meet and has fallen into debt.

The family of four lives in a small, dilapidated apartment with sparse furnishings.

Hila’s most desperate need at the moment are beds for two of her children; they are currently sleeping with her which is obviously an untenable situation.
