Beds for Dana’s children

Total Cost - USD 1,656
Still Needed - USD 1,348
Funded - USD 309

Dana’s life was difficult before the war but since October 7th, her situation has deteriorated dramatically.

Dana, 49, is a single mother to five children, two of whom are already out of the house. The children’s father is completely out of the picture, and Dana is truly on her own.

Dana suffers from MS and depression. While she was able to work as a nursery teacher for many years, she recently had to stop working, and now receives a monthly disability stipend. Her income doesn’t come close to covering her family’s monthly expenses.

Unfortunately, Dana and her children (ages 12-18) were directly impacted by the war, as the family lives down South. Their apartment suffered extensive damage, the children have started experiencing panic attacks, and Dana’s oldest daughter is dealing with the trauma of being a Nova survivor. The expense of therapy has now become another burden for Dana to carry.

Despite all of her troubles, Dana does her very best to provide for children and keep a tidy home. Her most desperate need right now are three new beds for her children since their old ones were damaged beyond repair.

Every child needs a decent bed to sleep on; Dana’s children are no exception.
