Beds for Chana and Benny’s daughters

Chana and Benny are doing their best to support their family of seven, but it isn’t easy. The couple regularly attends a program intended to help impoverished families improve their lives. Between them, the couple has five children between the ages of 1 and 13. Only the youngest is the couple’s biological child, while the older four are from Chana’s previous two marriages. Benny treats all of the children as his own and works hard to support them.

Chana is currently at home with their youngest child, 11 months old, who is disabled. Benny had a stable job at a factory but was laid off during the Corona crisis. He is now looking for a new job with the help of social services, and Chana is also planning to look for work as soon as her youngest begins gan this year. In the meantime, however, the couple is trying to pay off heavy debts and meet their daily living expenses.

Their most urgent need right now are beds for their two daughters who are currently sleeping on mattresses on the floor. It would make a world of difference if the girls, and their parents, could get a good night’s sleep.
