Sharon, 44, is caught in a desperate cycle of poverty and struggle; she needs a helping hand.

Sharon was raised in a highly dysfunctional home; she and her siblings were often neglected, and some of them were removed to foster care.

Eventually, Sharon married and had two daughters, now aged 12 and 15. After years of abuse, Sharon finally left her husband and is now raising her children on her own.

Sharon suffers from low cognitive functioning and various psychological issues; she receives a monthly disability stipend.

In addition to her stipend, Sharon also works part-time as a cleaner. She is desperate to provide for her children.

At the moment, Sharon’s most dire need are new beds for her girls. They are currently sleeping on broken bed frames with torn mattresses. They deserve a decent night’s sleep.
