Although it will add yet another expense to their lives, Ilanit was determined to move her small family from her mother’s crowded home into their own apartment.

Ilanit is a devoted mother who works three different cleaning jobs in order to support her three children. Beyond paying for food, housing, education, and the other basics, Ilanit is responsible for purchasing hearing aids for her daughter.

Ilanit wants her children to feel secure, to have a home that offers them some privacy and personal space. They have all looked forward to the new apartment, but Ilanit cannot cover the cost of the washing machine that they now need there.
