Accounting course for Rona
Rona recognizes that the only way to get ahead in life is with more education. She has completed 12 years of study but knows that she wants and needs to learn more. She and her social worker believe that accounting would be a good career path for her.
Currently, Rona, 23, supports herself by working as a secretary but her income is so low that she has trouble paying her rent and lives a very careful, restricted life in order not to go into debt. Rona comes from a house of strife and arguments, and her parents do not provide any financial support. Rona’s social worker describes her as “serious, wise, and very gentle,” and is convinced that if she gets the tuition help that she needs, Rona will succeed in building a successful, independent and productive life.
