Orna, 49, is divorced and has three teenaged children.

After a number of years of unemployment, Orna is now working as a secretary for a construction company. She is supporting her family on her small income and a monthly government stipend.

Orna’s two older children work part-time in order to help their mother.

This is a motivated and optimistic family that tries to make the best of their circumstances.

Recently, Orna’s washing machine broke and cannot be repaired. If we could help her purchase a new one, there is no question her quality of life would greatly improve.
