Liat, 40, desperately needs a helping hand as she tries to raise three young children (ages 5-13) on her own.

Liat works as a secretary and tries her best to provide for her children on her small income and a monthly government stipend.

Recently, Liat joined a Social Services program that is mentoring her on proper parenting techniques and sound financial planning. Without any family support, she is trying hard to do this on her own.

The family’s apartment is neat and tidy, but sparsely furnished. Liat’s most desperate need at the moment is a new washing machine as hers is broken beyond repair.

With three young children to dress each day, a working washing machine is a necessity. Unfortunately, Liat cannot afford this extra expense.
