Lara, 60, is divorced and has three grown children. While Lara is in contact with her children, none of them are able to help her financially.

Lara used to work as a travel agent, but due to poor health, she can no longer hold down a job. Among her physical issues are kidney disease, diabetes and hearing loss.

Lara manages to support herself on a monthly disability stipend, but she struggles to cover any extra expenses.

Her most pressing need at the moment is a new washing machine. Her old one broke months ago and, since then, she has been doing all of her washing by hand.

Given her physical condition, a new washing machine is a necessity. Lara desperately needs our help.
