Tuition for Leora
Leora, 40, and Rafi, 42, are raising nine children (ages 1-19), including one who suffers from Cerebral Palsy.
Leora and Rafi, who live an ultra-Orthodox lifestyle, do their very best to make ends meet. Leora is a teacher and Rafi, who learns in the mornings, works as a special ed teacher in the afternoons. While they live a very frugal life, they are amassing debt and know that they have to raise their monthly income.
The family’s apartment is not in great shape, but Leora does her best to keep it neat and tidy; the general environment in the house is happy and relaxed.
Having been a teacher for many years, Leora knows that she is capable of moving ahead in the field of education. She has started a course in order to get certification as a guidance counselor.
Leora and Rafi participate in a Social Services program that helps struggling families build a solid financial plan and find professional advancement. The program has covered part of Leora’s course tuition, but she still needs help covering the remainder.
Leora is a very determined and driven woman. There is no doubt that with this degree, she will be able to move forward professionally and help her family improve their quality of life. She deserves our help.
