Tuition for Amit

Orna, 30, and Amit, 33, are struggling to survive and desperately need our help.

The couple has two young children, ages 2 and 3. Their oldest son, Tom, suffers from various physical ailments, including asthma, allergies and sleep apnea.

Amit is a municipal employee and works many hours overtime in order to bring home more income. Orna works as an assistant in Tom’s nursery so that she can earn a salary while also keeping an eye on his physical well-being.

Despite their efforts, Orna and Amit are living hand to mouth. They have heavy debts to pay off and are in the process of declaring personal bankruptcy. The couple has no family support to lean on.

Recently, Orna and Amit joined a social services program that is helping them build a sound financial plan. The two are completely devoted to their children and determined to give them a better future.

In order to increase his family’s standard of living, Amit desperately wants to get a degree in Education and find work in the field.
