Summer Camps for Israeli Children in Need

Total Cost - USD 259,516
Still Needed - USD 233,564
Funded - USD 25,952

Summer is the most vulnerable period of the year for Israeli children in the welfare system. When school ends, so does their safety net. For parents who cannot afford summer programs, there is no fallback option, only impossible choices between work, supervision, and basic survival.

In many cases, parents must continue working simply to keep a roof over their heads. This leaves children, some from abusive homes, some in the welfare system, and some with special needs, without supervision for long hours each day. Too often, they are left alone at home or in the streets, without structure, protection, or healthy, safe stimulation.

Why Summer Support Matters

Without this urgent support, children are left unsupervised for hours each day. This means unsafe environments, loneliness, and exposure to risk during the longest stretch of unstructured time in the year.

Who Are the Children We Are Helping

Children in the welfare system, children from abusive homes, and children with special needs.

What are we providing?

We are providing summer day camps for children and pool memberships for families with children who would otherwise be left without safe, structured frameworks during the long summer months.

This year, we must raise 750,000 NIS (approximately $260,000) to provide funding for summer day camps and pool memberships for 800 children.
