Summer camp for Lior
Stav, 43, is a single mother to two special needs children. David, 6, is autistic and Lior, 4.5, is developmentally delayed and emotionally troubled. Stav is an incredibly devoted mom who stayed at home for a number of years in order to care for the boys.
A few months ago, Stav re-entered the work force; she is an aide at an old-age home. Unfortunately, her income isn’t enough to cover the family’s cost of living.
In order to move forward with her life and ensure a stable future for her boys, Stav recently joined a social services program that helps families living in poverty build a sound professional and economic plan. She is determined to earn more money and stand on her own two feet.
As the summer vacation begins, Stav needs a plan for Lior so that she can work as many hours as possible. If she could get help paying for his summer program, the hot summer months will be much more pleasant for all of them.
