Speech therapy for Natan
Natan, 20, is an impressive young man. Both of Natan’s parents have been quite ill for many years, and the family is financially unstable. As he neared his army induction date, Natan reached out to a non-profit organization that helps young people in need navigate the army process. Natan enlisted but unfortunately, after six months, had to leave the army as his parent’s situation drastically deteriorated. Natan’s father had been in an institution and wasn’t being cared for properly. His mother, who suffers from cardiac issues and anxiety disorder, has been in and out of hospitals for years. Natan is determined to help them, both financially and emotionally. He is also helping to support his brother. With all of the responsibility that he has taken on, Natan is also trying to save money to study for a degree in Management. He is a motivated and determined young man who is eager to get ahead in life.
Natan has speech and diction issues. He stutters and has trouble pronouncing many sounds. These difficulties have impacted his self-confidence and sense of self-worth. He is still young enough that with speech therapy, he could make great progress. Unfortunately, with all of his responsibilities, he cannot afford the cost of the therapy right now. It would be a shame if this amazing young man did not have the opportunity to pursue his dreams.
