Refrigerator for Nir
Nir’s story is heartbreaking.
Nir, 20, and his younger sister were raised by their father; they have no contact at all with their birth mother.
Last year, Nir’s father passed away after a long battle with kidney disease. His death left Nir caring for his sister who is developmentally delayed and suffers from severe allergies.
Nir himself suffers from anxiety disorder and depression. Social services helps him in whatever ways they can, and he recently moved into a government subsidized apartment.
At the moment, Nir is supporting himself on a monthly government stipend. As he tries to stand on his own two feet, his most desperate need is a working refrigerator.
After his rough start in life, Nir deserves help in building himself a brighter future.
