Refrigerator for Miri

Miri, 45, is divorced and has four children; one is married, two are soldiers and one is 13-years-old.

Miri herself comes from a very difficult background, including an alcoholic father and an abusive spouse.

To add to her troubles, Miri suffers from a number of physical ailments, including severe asthma and diabetes; she supports herself and her children on a monthly disability stipend. Needless to say, especially given her high medical expenses, she struggles to make ends meet.

Miri and her children live in a small, government-subsidized apartment. Despite her dire financial situation, Miri does all she can to provide a warm and loving home for her children.

Recently, Miri’s refrigerator broke, and it cannot be repaired. With two soldiers and a growing child to feed, she desperately needs a new one.
