Refrigerator for Mia
Mia, 47, is doing everything she can to put her life back together, and she deserves a helping hand.
After graduating high school and completing her full army service, Mia got married at the age of 23. Three weeks after her wedding, her husband was killed in a car accident.
Mia remarried three years later and had six children, now ages 12-20. Unfortunately, four years ago, the couple divorced.
Mia’s ex-husband doesn’t pay child support consistently and, despite a full-time job as a law intern, Mia struggles to make ends meet.
At the moment, Mia’s most desperate need is a new refrigerator; her old one is broken beyond repair.
Needless to say, raising six children without a working refrigerator is next to impossible. As Mia works towards standing on her own two feet, let’s do our part to help her succeed.
