Itzik, 63, is divorced and has three grown sons.

For many years, Itzik worked as a taxi driver but he had to stop due to chronic heart disease.

Today, Itzik survives on a monthly government stipend; he struggles to make ends meet.

A few months ago, there was a flood in Itzik’s apartment which caused significant damage; many of his belongings were destroyed.

Itzik’s most pressing need at the moment is a new refrigerator; an electrical short caused by the flood killed his old one.

Without a working refrigerator, Itzik won’t be able to start picking up the pieces of his life. He needs our help.
