Irit, 43, is a single mother to three sons, ages 8-19. The oldest is currently serving in the IDF.

Irit is divorced and receives no financial or emotional support from her ex-husband; she works as a kindergarten assistant and struggles to make ends meet.

Irit’s 13-year-old son has severe emotional and psychological issues. With the help of Social Services, Irit was able to place him in a boarding school where he seems to be thriving.

Irit is a very devoted mother who tries to provide for her children as best she can.

At the moment, her most desperate need is a new refrigerator. Her old one is broken beyond repair, and she needs a way to provide fresh food for her family.
