After a number of months in the shelter, Dana joined a Social Services program that helps abused women build a solid plan for their future.
Dana is now living in her own apartment and working as a seamstress. She suffers from severe asthma and receives a monthly disability stipend, but is determined to build a stable future for herself and her children.
Dana’s apartment is sparsely furnished, but her most desperate need right now is a new refrigerator.
