Refrigerator for Dan
Dan’s story is heartbreaking, and we can help make a small difference.
Dan, 52, is divorced and has four children (ages 15-27). He is not in contact with his oldest son but has a warm, loving relationship with his three daughters; they visit him often.
Over the years, Dan managed to support himself and never asked for help.
After a number of serious medical setbacks, including bypass surgery, a herniated disc, a stroke and kidney surgery, Dan’s financial situation has drastically deteriorated. For a few months, he even found himself living on the streets.
Dan has now been approved for a government-subsidized apartment. The unit will be completely unfurnished, and Reuven has to find a way to purchase the bare necessities.
If we could provide Dan with a refrigerator, he would be one step closer to getting back on his feet.
