Oven for Orna
Orná’s story is heartbreaking, and she could really use a helping hand.
Orna, 52, is divorced and has no children. Both of her parents are deceased, and she is not in contact with her siblings. She is basically alone in the world.
After being sexually abused as a child, Orna became involved with a cult. It was there that she met the man who would become her husband but after a number of years, they divorced.
Unfortunately, it took Orna many years to leave the cult, and she has been in therapy and under psychiatric care ever since.
Orna lives alone and survives on a monthly disability stipend.
For years, she has prepared meals on a small portable burner, but she would benefit greatly from a proper oven.
With our help, Orna could significantly improve her quality of life.
