Efrat, 35, is divorced and raising two special-needs children on her own.

Efrat’s ex-husband is an alcoholic who has been in and out of rehab a number of times; he is no longer involved in his children’s lives, and Efrat receives no help from him, financial or otherwise.

Recently, Efrat was awarded a government-subsidized apartment. The downside is that the apartment is completely unfurnished and has no electrical appliances.

Efrat desperately needs an oven so that she can prepare fresh food for her growing children. Let’s help her with this most basic necessity.
