Chaim, 52, is divorced and surviving on a monthly disability stipend.

For many years, Chaim worked in a supermarket warehouse but since falling ill, he hasn’t been able to hold down a job.

Recently, Chaim moved out of the center of the country in order to save on living expenses. The apartment that he is now renting is only partially furnished.

Chaim’s most urgent need is an oven; at the moment, he is eating only cold food, such as sandwiches.

A new oven would go a long way towards improving Chaim’s quality of life.
