Oven for Anna

Anna, 23, is a single mother to three-year-old, Gali. At the moment, Anna and Gali live with Anna’s parents in their 2-room apartment, along with ten other family members. The apartment is in terrible condition, and there is obviously no privacy at all.

To make matters worse, Anna has been diagnosed with a rare nerve disorder which makes everyday functioning very difficult. Gali, who is autistic, has been diagnosed with the condition as well.

Anna and Gali survive on their monthly disability stipends. Recently, Anna was awarded a government-subsidized apartment. She is relieved to finally be moving into her own space, but the apartment is completely unfurnished.

Anna was able to procure a refrigerator but, as of now, she has no oven. She is desperate for one, In order to feed herself and her growing daughter.

With our help, Anna will be one step closer to building an independent life for herself and Gali.
