Financial Assistance for Eliran and Dana
For over 300 days, Eliran has been serving in the reserves. While he’s been protecting his country, his own family has been struggling to hold things together.
His wife, Dana, is currently on maternity leave with their youngest, just four months old. She would love to return to work eventually, but with no way to cover daycare expenses and babysitting for their other 4 children, it’s simply not possible.
Meanwhile, Eliran returned from duty only to find he no longer had a job. The family, now with five children, has no stable income.
And the living conditions are dire. During a recent home visit, Eliran’s commanding officer was shocked:
“I’ve never seen such poverty. One of the kids sleeps on a mattress under the dining table. There’s no living room. They hosted me on plastic patio chairs. It was heartbreaking.”
