Liel’s Story

Liel is a single mother of two who has always worked hard to support her family independently. Before October 7, she was a teacher, but she knew she needed to create a more sustainable future for her family. She invested most of her savings into opening her own business.

Then everything changed.

Since October 7, Liel has spent more than 400 days serving in the reserves. With so much time away from home, her new business never had the chance to get off the ground. Eventually, she was forced to close it, losing the savings she had invested.

A few months ago, while serving on duty, Liel fell and broke her leg. Today, she is facing ongoing therapy appointments, additional expenses, and the challenge of caring for her children while recovering.

After giving so much to protect others, Liel now needs support herself. She is struggling to cover the extra costs she is facing and needs immediate assistance to help her family get through this difficult period.
