David and Avigail live together with their 2½-year-old child, who was a baby of only five months old when David was called up to serve in Gaza. Since then, David has been called up every few months for several months at a time, making it impossible for him to start a steady job despite having just completed his degree.

Avigail, determined to care for their baby, had to leave her full-time job and take on a part-time position so she could be home in the afternoons and evenings. Raising a young child alone while managing work and household responsibilities has been exhausting, and the family is struggling to make ends meet.

They are now desperately in need of assistance to help cover basic needs and bring some stability back to their home.
