At the age of 21, Sagi moved to Israel from Eastern Europe along with his grandmother, mother and sister. Since then, both his grandmother and mother passed away; Sagi never married and has no children. Except for his sister, he is alone in the world.
Sagi struggles with physical and emotional issues, as a result of which he cannot work. He supports himself on his monthly disability stipend. Sagi lives in his late grandmother’s government-subsidized apartment, but isn’t sure if he will be allowed to continue living there.
One of Sagi’s medical conditions is vision impairment. He is desperate for new glasses but cannot afford them. If Sagi could get help covering this expense, his quality of life would certainly improve.
